The Algarve was again regarded as the best beach destination in Europe, the delivery ceremony of the World Travel Awards, the distinction commonly known as "tourism Oscars", which took place last Saturday, September 5, in Sardinia.
Held on the 9 and 10 May another edition of the Parliamentary Conference of the CDS-PP Madeira, having been carried out at the Cheerfulway Bravamar Hotel Ribeira Brava.
The recent award of blue flags on Portuguese beaches has demonstrated the excellent quality of the Algarve beaches and specifically Albufeira county beaches.
The Algarve is again in the running for the election of the best beach destination in Europe. It is the fifth consecutive year that the most touristic region of the country is nominated for the category of the World Travel Awards, but competes in 43 more in premiums known as Tourism Oscars.
Naturally, Albufeira is also internationally famous for its nightlife. The two main areas where partying is the most lively are the “Street of Bars” in the Old Town and the “Strip” in Oura and Areias de S. João areas on the East side of the city
